Professor Goi Bok Min, Vice President of Tunku Abdul Rahman University in Malaysia paid a visit on Heze University on November 12, 2024.
Yan Wei, Vice President of our school greeted the guests and participated in the symposium. He introduced internal high-quality development strategy of our school and the achievements of educational exchange and cooperation with local cultural characteristics within the framework of The Belt and Road Initiative. He hoped that the two schools would explore more potential cooperation opportunities and make joint plans for teachers and students, cultivating the international vision and professional skills of Chinese and Malaysian youth, and promoting the sharing of educational resources and mutual learning in scientific and technological innovation under the favorable background of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and the China-Malaysia Friendship Year.
Dr. Goi Bok Min spoke highly of the educational characteristics of Heze University and suggested promoting mutually beneficial and pragmatic cooperation through short-term exchanges, art exhibitions and other forms.
The attendees from both sides also had an in-depth discussion on teacher exchanges, language teaching, reciprocal study abroad and other matters, and reached an agreement on credit recognition and Diploma- Degree Articulation Programs.
All staff members of International Exchange and Collaboration Department attended the symposium.
